About Baju Kurung

Baju kurung is a traditional Malay outfit for women in Malaysia. It is loose fitting full length dress and covers most part of the body. It consists of the blouse and the sarong. The blouse is knee length with a full length sleeves and has simple cutting. The sarong covers the lower part of the body. The fabric used to make baju kurung comes in variety of different printed design such as satin, silk, batik, organza and others. It is widely worn by women as an officewear and to special occasions like a wedding and festival.
